 DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS

Introduction

The second phase of the project introduces special results in Differential Calculus. Prerequisite topics include the Chain, Product and Quotient Rules of Differentiation.. The topics of interests are first order derivatives of exponential and logarithmic functions to any real number base.

Student Preparation - Review of Past Work

This section of Project Momentum is about  to start. 

Please be sure to revise the following previously covered  principles and rules:

  • 1) The Laws of Indices and Logarithms;
  • 2) Trigonometric Identities (Pythagorean, Compound Angle, Double Double Angles, S2P and P2S);
  • 3) The Chain, Product Rule and Quotient Rules;
  • 4) Differentiation of Power Functions;
  • 5) Differentiation of Trigonometric Functions.
